Cast of Characters
Anya Sam's best friend. It is necessary to note that they are joined at the hip, since they are les jumelles (en verte). Don't get it? Find yourself a French-English translator and you'll still be confused. But hey, that's how Sam and Anya are when they're together. Anya has been neglecting her body for the past year or two, prefering to refer to her body as the receptacle that carries her caffeine-wired brain around. She lives in the music room and Sam's house (mainly for food), remaining mostly indoors. Famous quote: "Sun? What is this...Sun?"
Chen Sam's other best friend. They started getting close more recently than Sam and Anya, and as Sam has discovered, Chen is an excellent editor (due to his love of fiction/fantasy), as well as an awesome listener when times get tough. He has an uncanny skill for taking standardized tests. Despite the words of the assistant principal during Chen's class and ASB presidency, Chen is usually the exception, not the example. Often classified as a "ladies man" or just plain outgoing, Chen is slick, cool, and properly insane. Famous quote: "I've driven stick for so long now that my head doesn't do the bobby thing."
Chloe One of Sam's best friends. Always rather smile-inspiring and relatively mellow, Chloe is Lifehouse-obsessed, Smallville-obsessed, and Spiderman-obsessed. Chloe generally serves and Sam's source of music and pop culture. They work together well, especially after a year of AP Chemistry. Chloe can be classified as a volumetric flask (see Guide to Personalities for the Science Lab-Oriented). Famous quote: "I'm hungry. That means time to sleep."
Elizabeth (aka Joey) Fanpenguin of Sam. She leads a life of unfortunate drama and distress, usually imbued with backstabbing and mutual hatred and the such. Sam supplies lemons in various forms as antidotes. All's well though; Joey designs awesome tshirts that everyone wears. Famous quote: "PH33R M3H!!!!"
Emalia (aka Em) soon-to-be mentor of Sam. Unbearably annoying at times, Em is guy obsessed and lives in her own shoujo manga. She is emotionally unstable, but can be fun to hang out with. Her life is ruled by her oppressive mother and the wonderful Ms. Judith Sutton. Famous quote: "I can't, I have to go to POE-etry."
Henry new addition to Sam's friend pool. Henry is ridiculously talented, both in academics and music AND tennis. It's just ridiculous. Sam is jealous of his beastliness in all these areas, but modestly admits that she is better at candle dancing than Henry. Famous quote: "Monsieur Jordan dans la jardin..."

Evan Anya's... ex, it seems. After all, they only email about ONCE a day now, instead of 923642 times per day. Evan is THE wushu master and martial arts idol of Sam. Famous quote: "This concludes your fortune cookie."
Kaveh whose name is so cool that it's the same in the non-SoT world. Self-proclaimed emo musician, Kaveh already has senioritis (dubbed the "Hemati syndrome" by Anya), though he recently came to the realization that he still has apps to write. Evidence points to his status as successful crowd-surfer. Famous quote: "It's KAH-EH. The v is silent."
Micah ASB's trademark caucasian kid. New addition, though no one's quite sure why he's joined the cast. Famous quote: "Is anyone going to eat that?"

Ethan Sam's former crush. He has disappeared from conscious thought, except maybe when she drives past his house.
